New Accounts do not get Verified for 30 days. Such accounts can post as many Ads with little to no verifications. But after the initial 30-Day period, only Active, Verified and Logged-In Users can access all features of Activelocals. Access to posting in our community after 30 Days becomes a privilege not a right and at which time we only allow verified Accounts to post their Goods, Services, Events, Person/s or Ideas.

You are FREE to post any Ad that does not violate our Terms and Conditions, as long as you are what you say you are, maintain a REAL and VALID profile, and DO NOT try to trick Users or anyone.

After the initial 30-Day period, we verify all Users in two main ways:

• Personal / Individual Users: Address, Phone, Age and Name verification.
• Business Users: Business or Entity, Address, Phone, Type of Business or Service and jurisdiction.

The information we verify must coincide with profile information, so we can maintain a genuine non-fake or no-scamming profile.

We do this to protect our Users and the public who browse our services from those who will abuse or use our service for illegal activities and illegal gain.

Examples of Licenses we can verify and allow:

• Business Licenses.
• Trade Certificates.
• Fictitious Business Name (DBA) Certificate.
• Permits (Events, Municipal, State, Legal, Sales, Tax)
• Insurance Certificates.
• Educational Certificates.
• Professional Certifications.
• Bond Certificates.
• Notarized Letter/Document.
• School ID (College, High School, Secondary School, Varsity)
• Library ID Cards, Gym ID Cards that shows picture and current address used.
• Driver's License / State Issued License.
• e.t.c.

Only Active, Verified and Logged-In Users can access all features of Activelocals. That includes posting Ads to any category. Points are the currency we charge for posting Ads in a category.

Even though most are FREE, some categories requires points in order to post an Ad or re-post an expired Ad.

You can acquire points in the following 3 ways:

• Logging into the system daily. (Current promotion)
• Introductory points for New Users. (Current promotion)
• Purchase points using a Credit or Debit card securely online.
